COLLECTION OF TEDDINGTON (MIDDLX) HAND STAMPS 1806-1857 (7 ITEMS). A good lot of hand stamps on six covers from Teddington in Middlesex relating to the London Two Penny Post including 1815 letter Teddington to London with fine 'TwoPyPoft/Unpaid/Teddington' hand stamp in black (L501); 1821 wrapper to Isle of Skye with 'T.P/Teddington' hand stamp; 1825 letter to Marylebone with similar hand stamp (L504); 1837 wrapper to Grays Inn with similar hand stamp (L504); 1849 envelope to Brompton with 1d (SG8) alongside 'T.P/Teddington' hand stamp and 1857 envelope London to Redditch with fair strike 'Teddington' straight line hand stamp in blue (L514). Also damaged 1806 London 'Two-penny Poft-Office' returned letter wrapper with printed regulations of the Post Office. (7 items). (Ref 140002).
