1858 LARGE PIECE GLASGOW TO ANNAN WITH 'NEWTON MEARNS' SCOTS LOCAL CANCELLATION TYPE III IN BLUE. Large piece with fine die 2 1d rose-red on white paper (SG40) lettered BL tied fine strike 'NEWTON MEARNS' Scots local cancellation type III in blue (Parent Post Office Glasgow). On reverse 'GLASGOW' and 'ANNAN' date stamps MY 20 1858. Filing fold just clear of cancellation. Good usage. (Ref 136651).
