Fine letter used in London from Great Tower St to 'Hugh McKean Esqre, 7 Pall Mall' with fine 1d black pl.8 (SG2) lettered GA with four good to fine margins and tied very fine strike black Maltese cross. On front fine strike 'Tower.St.' straight line receivers hand stamp in blue (L514/TOWS13b?). Filing folds clear of stamp, letter dated April 24th 1841. Fine usage. (Ref 133085).
