Parcel tag sent registered mail London to "DISTRICT BANK LIMITED...Manchester" with red-brown EXPRESS/DELIVERY label and franked with KGVI 1s bistre-brown (SG475) x 3, 6d purple (SG470) and 5d brown (SG469) tied REGISTERED/THREADNEEDLE ST oval date stamps 3 JAN 49. Usual creasing affects but a nice multi franking. (Ref 104145).
