126. 1d MULREADY/NORTHUMBERLAND. A fine 1d envelope, Stereo A147, Morpeth to Blyth cancelled red-brown M.C. backstamped Morpeth in dark blue AU/11/1840. Unusually Mulready still contains original letter. (*) (Ref 57346) £295.00

127. 2d MULREADY/WILTSHIRE. A good front addressed to 'Messrs Taylor, North Wilts Bank, Chippenham' tied fine red M.C. Shame only a front. (*) (Ref 56176) £95.00

134. SPOONER CARICATURE NUMBER '11'. A good unused HAND COLOURED example of the original, slight damage on reverse and slight toning, nevertheless a good example of this 'angling' envelope with Britannia using her spear as a fishing rod. (*) (Ref 57673) £300.00

136. PICTORIAL ENVELOPE. Circa 1870 envelope depicting porters pulling a cart with a variety of goods. Stamp to be placed on the side of one box and address panel within another box. Apparently by Henry Archer Cheeswright. Very clean. (*) (Ref 57961) £65.00

137. PICTORIAL ENVELOPE. Circa 1870 unused printed envelope depicting horse and cart with country yokels outside the 'Queen's Head' and placed within the Inn side to put one stamp. Very fine, apparently drawn by Henry Archer Cheeswright. (*) (Ref 57960) £65.00
